Gespecialiseerde testen voor de productie van immunoglobulinen voor therapeutische toepassing

De nauwkeurige meting van specifieke antilichamen is ook belangrijk tijdens de productie van therapeutische immunoglobulinen en hyperimmune producten.

Plasmadonoren worden gescreend op de aanwezigheid van specifieke antilichamen. Donoreenheden met veel antilichamen worden geselecteerd als grondstoffen voor de productie van therapeutische immunoglobulineproducten. Deze sets zijn speciaal hiervoor ontworpen en hebben een hoger meetbereik dan de standaardproducten. De verpakking is groter dan die van standaardproducten, om grote volumes monsters op consistente wijze te kunnen testen. Dit bespaart tevens veel geld.
