Hevylite®

Freelite and Hevylite sensitively measure two independent biomarkers in Multiple Myeloma.

• Freelite measures κ and λ free light chains (at mg/L levels) and Hevylite measures intact immunoglobulins (at g/L levels)
• Using both tests when monitoring ensures detection of relapse whether by light chain and/or intact immunoglobulin clones
• At relapse, a different clone may emerge to the clone seen at diagnosis (clonal evolution)

This study of an MM patient with IgAκ monoclonal proteins plus κ free light chains shows rapid identification of clonal change at both relapses

• Using both Freelite and Hevylite tests during monitoring allows light chain and intact immunoglobulin clones to be detected, giving clinicians more and earlier information.
