Specialist assays for the production of therapeutic immunoglobulin products

The accurate measurement of specific antibodies is also important during the manufacturing of therapeutic immunoglobulin and hyperimmune products.

Plasma donors are screened for the presence of specific antibodies and donor units with high levels are selected as raw material for the production of therapeutic immunoglobulin products. The kits have been designed specifically for this purpose and have higher measuring ranges than the corresponding standard products. The pack size is larger than standard products to allow for economical and consistent testing of high volumes of samples.
